Keep-on..Keeping-on..

How's everybody's Easter Holiday or arh.. i should say weekend.. ((*.~)) 
Am keeping-on.. just i have mentioned earlier and here i mused ..

As for me, finally i get my head off those office work rush.. especially for some assignment that i have to clear for Boss and having the dead-line close on 28 April .. oh gosh plus with those month end task such as pay-roll and holiday breaks; for a moment i think i didn't get to "breath" enough.. whew... 

Now 1st April; new task is on my desk; that is gonna be busy with some accounting matters for those tax submission purpose. Oh, in case one might just wonder what am i doing and have not gotten to "browse-me" up in the "a little of me aka about" section here.. i am working as a secretary with a "all-rounded" task that includes accounts and also HR!  Well, probably i am engaged in a small-medium local company, else i would just simply gets to do only what my employment duties require.

Alright with great opportune that i could get my "breather", another completion of beading piece here to share.. 

To my surprise; I find the colors and result very pretty and soft; much like a piece of lace; coz i was almost at daze matching up colors of those beads from my stash/keeps..

Juz in a little Pause Mode

Wow.. is really been quite awhile that i have not blog about anything here!  And with a "wink of an eye" 1st quarter of year 2013 has pass me by.

What and where have i been? Haven't been to any where, still in this little lovely tropical country where i was born and bred and grow; and older i grew!  Now about the what.. have not been doing any thing much i.e. my crafts/hobbies .. i might have just press on the "pause" button.  Simply lost all my interest or momentum since Mum pass-on.  And yet it coming to a year in just another 2 weeks or so; some how i still haven't got through the moment that she IS NOT Around!  Missed her very much indeed.

Lots of encouragement and feed-backs, especially church mates says that our "bonding" was very closed that i didn't realize and also lots of effort have to do on my part now is learning to "let-go" and move-on.

Okay, ok, God was good indeed.. Beading buddies came-by; friends, church mates "flows-in" and start asking about my blog, on-line shoppe, crafting hobbies..Until some day, nice friend nudge me about some materials, beads, patterns .. etc.. they saw and pictures start flowing-in.

There kicks me in to release my "pause" button and thrill myself back with some beads.  Also with friends doing birthday celebrations.. so pace pick up from there.

Here's one of the little pair of earrings i beaded as a birthday gift .. The design was by Ellad2; her simplicity yet pretty is one thing i love and admire. I gotta hold of a earring that is simple yet pretty and elegant.

Now don't you think that looks great?..i have sorted out some other colors and be ready to whip up whenever free; at least a pair for myself if not for my on-line shoppe here or etsy.  (^.)

Gotta go now to Church and be back soon.. So..here i go; hopefully to be more consistent .. both in crafts and blogging..

Just to keep my mind off . . .

*Thought i saw mum using the bathroom; was so excited that i went over knock on the door and kept calling out "mummy, mummy" she didn't answer at all though it was so clear that i saw her!* 


My calling out was so loud that i woke myself up from there!  Oooh.. was it the missing yearning of her? Or was it that i have been thinking of her these couple of days especially the festive chinese new year is just round the corners that i miss her sooooo ever much? 
Probably so :( coz she was ever so excited and anxious over chinese new year; as i bring her to Rasa Sentosa Resort during the festive holidays.  She loves chinese goodies, such as chinese mandarin oranges, love letters, kuah balu, sweet sour prune and other "nit nacks".

Now from this year starts is gonna be extremely quiet in the house without her.  No cookies, goodies, not even oranges at least for this year as the chinese custom carries that no celebration of any sort if anyone family member "RIP" in less than a year.

Sighh... well whether we do follow or don't, mood is just not there!  MISS .. MISS .. so much of her!

PaPa God, i pray You help me, take her off my mind & thoughts, as i felt very miserable; please fill me with peace, calm and comfort.  Lord, i also pray that You take good care of mama while she is at all peace and joy in Your Mansion celebrating the lunar new year! Thank You~Amen!

Disappoint but Thankful and Grateful ...

Though our Chinese New Year is 3 weeks/± away; i am ♥ Greatly & Superbly ♥ touched by church mates & friends for their invitations to join them for CNY reunion dinner knowing mum already RIP.

Accepting reality is not easy as it not only disappoint but hurts .. anyway, i greatly thank Our Lord for revealing true colors of those “ignorant” relatives & siblings just because there is no advantage they could lend their hands on..

Sighhh ... arh well, it takes all kinds of people to made this "interesting world".. Still Lord i pray that You Bless them all; extend in them compassion and love for others~amen!!

a little change that aids a new phase ...

So trying to get myself to accept the reality that mummy has left for a better "life" in a much blessed place; i gotta do some thing where i live.  Changing and moving some furniture around the home makes a "new" environment. Kick start with our sofa; which has serve us for the past 17 years.. 

Was pretty happy to have gotten this new sofa set - firstly the deal was very good as Courts was having a 70% sale for its reopening after their renovation/revamp.  Secondly, i get to have my choice of the leather colors, which i chose a "maroon-red" for a change. ((^.))  Easy upkeep for me now as i only need to wipe them instead of needing to change & wash up those fabric covers.  

Hmm, not too bad ya? But i guess, i would "dress-up" the sofa a little later with perhaps either a crochet or  patchwork piece of covering on the head-rest. 

Also perhaps 1 or 2 more cushions needed. 

So, any likes? any thoughts?  :P
