Welcome to my blog cum my little shoppe, i’m Lynda Yeou. Sip-a-Cuppa is my little "brand" / pen-name. As i mostly craft during leisure [coz i am holding a full-time day job] while sipping a cuppa! Here, in this little space i would share, muse, doodle; now learning to take one day at a time. Am all grateful & thankful for all HIS Faithfulness.
A little more of me :
i love making things; my likes of beading, sew and create simple jewelry, accessories, purses, clutches, tote and handbags. Most are self-taught with crafts magazines, books as my "teachers". These are my hobbies/passion - making stuff / crafts for others as gifting and/or to treasure.
So, it all began with my little crafting of jewelry; sewing clutches and tote bags as gifts to friend’s, colleagues, church-mates' birthday, weddings. Amazingly, the feedback and compliments stream-in continually. At some point request came in for me to sew and sometime crafting of accessories they saw in magazine.
All of this came as a big encouragement to me so i decided to take on this little challenge and started an-online shop; followed by a little blog here now [2013] to keep myself in track.
Simplicity is beauty so for clutches, tote bags i usually try to have them in simple & best possible modern pattern/design. Not many products are available in my on-line shops as of now; as i am still recovering from the lost of my mum.. Now, one would ask what is there to do with your crafting & creation?.. Well, lots to do with it, as those were the days where i would gladly & joyously show mum what i have craft and she would always give me compliment, and even comments for improvement.
Well, so as of now; i guess i need some little time to get over my emo [being so close & attached to mum] .. Anyway, with loads of understanding & support from friends, colleagues and church group.. i know i would overcome as i pick myself up and stay on the trail and pace onto the "alone" road slowly. So, i am taking one day at a time!
So here i am with this blog accompanying/containing my little nags and journey to share my occasional haps/up-dates and crafts with you. i hope and pray that somehow not only my crafts that you all would love but also enjoy every sharing that would perhaps give you all some inspiration / encouragement in your daily living.
